Props for Your Mock Class
Props are a great way for the student to understand what you’re saying as well as remember new vocabulary you teach them. I suggest using at least 2 different types of props, 3-5 is even better! Here is a link to several props I use!
With me as your coach you will get access to all of the props necessary, and yes, it’s free! You will also get to keep all of the props, they’re extremely helpful when you start teaching. Click here or add my referral code in your VIPKid Portal under My Account [LAURA1090 — that’s LAURA one, zero, nine, zero] to add me as your coach š
Your props do not need to be anything fancy or expensive. You can print pictures, head to the dollar store for an inexpensive doll or a ball or click this link for props you can download or get shipped to you cheap and fast.

Props:
- Reward System – Definitely have a reward system! This can be print outs of unicorns or monster trucks; stacking scoops of ice cream on a cone or animals going to the zoo. Click the link to get some more ideas!
- Dolls or Puppets – A doll or puppet goes a long way with the students, you can do voices or dance with them when they get an answer correct, they love it!
- A Ball – A ball can be used in many ways; the color, shape or even just as a ball. I use one of my dog’s tennis balls so I didn’t have to buy anything! š
- Flashcards – Flashcards are great to have on hand, whether it’s numbers, letters, body parts or vocabulary words, you will use these all the time!
- Mini Whiteboard – This is a great way to show how words are pronounced. For example; -ill. Write ‘-ill’ on the whiteboard then add a ‘B’ and say “Bill”… Erase the ‘B’ and add a ‘W’ and say “will”…etc.
