Homemade Bread Machine Rolls
These are dangerously good and the softest, fluffiest rolls I've ever had
Time: 2hr 30min
Serves: 16
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup oat milk
- 3 cups bread flour
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
- 1 package of active dry yeast or 2 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- Place ingredients into bread machine in order listed above. Set on DOUGH cycle and press start.
- When machine is finished, let the dough sit for 10-20 minutes to rise a little longer.
- Place on a lightly floured surface and divide dough into 16 pieces and shape into round balls.
- Spray a 13 x 9 pan with nonstick spray and place dough balls into pan. Cover pan with a cover or light towel for about 1 hour or until they have doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 350° and bake rolls for 12-16 minutes on the middle shelf. Remove from oven once the top begins to turn golden brown.
- Once removed, brush with butter and drizzle with honey (optional) to add sweetness.

Tips
- Oat milk is a game-changer with these rolls, it adds a creamy, slightly sweet taste. I've tried almond milk and whole milk and it works, but they're not as flavorful
- I've tried other yeasts, and this makes a huge difference in how light the rolls turn out
- When making the dough in the bread machine, I like for the dough to reach close to the top on the final proof (even after the machine has finished) to add extra air into the dough
