Our little guy has suffered from eczema for a few months and we've tried every natural cream out there. After doing some research, I've finally found the best thing for his skin!
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon beeswax
- 3 oz grapeseed oil
- 3-4 drops Vitamin E oil
- 3-3.5 oz breastmilk (room temperature)
- 8 oz container for lotion
- Create a double boiler (add 1 cup of water to a pot and bring to a boil with a glass bowl on top to melt the beeswax and grapeseed oil in). Add beeswax and grapeseed oil to the glass bowl and whisk until melted.
- Once melted, add a few drops of vitamin E oil and let cool to room temperature (68°-72°F).
- While whisking, slowly add breastmilk to the cooled mixture and whisk until combined.
- Pour into a container and store in the fridge for up to 3 months.
- Note: This recipe makes 8 oz. We keep a large container in the fridge (lasts up to 3 months) and the smaller container at room temperature to use after his baths.
