MUST-HAVES
Classic White Tee - You can never go wrong starting your outfit off with a clean slate. The staple white tee is versatile, easy, and you can wear it any time of the year. Here is my favorite crew neck white tee.
Knit Sweater - Try to find a neutral color or one with a small pattern, so it doesn't take much thought with the rest of your outfit when you throw it on. Here is one of my favorite classic sweaters, and you won't be mad if you buy it in all 3 colors.
Little Black Dress - Need I say more? Stick with a high neckline and add some length for the best versatility from day to night. This dress is super comfy and you can dress it up or down.
Turtleneck - They're simply effortlessly chic; try to find a soft and stretchy one. You can easily look put-together while being far more comfortable than a dress shirt or blouse. Here's one of my favorites that I have in several colors
Dark Wash Jeans - Dark wash denim never goes out of style; they're ultimately an investment, haha - perfect for dressing up or down. These jeans will last you a lifetime.
Jean Jacket - One of the most timeless pieces that can be worn in several seasons; you can't go wrong with a medium wash. Jean jackets can get pricey, but here is a good, medium-washed one that can go with several outfits.
Wrap Dress - The most universally-flattering dress of all, a wrap dress looks good on everyone; it defines your waist and is perfect for any age and any occasion. You can find wrap dresses anywhere, I love the sleeves on this one, but when it's summer, you'll find me in shorter ones like this.
Ankle Boots - Another item that can be worn throughout multiple seasons; experiment with different heel heights to find your favorite. This mid-heel boot is super comfortable and comes in several colors; you can also try a peep-toe boot for warmer weather.
Simple Flats - A simple flat is a jack-of-all-trades; you can wear the for anything from a day at the office to a grocery run. These are fun and come in black and tan, or go for a little more of a classic look with these.
